Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar
Mix until well combined
Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and continue to mix until smooth
Stir in the baking soda and salt until evenly distributed
Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips into the dough
Using a spoon or a cookie scoop, portion out the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie
Gently press down on each cookie with the back of a fork to create a crisscross pattern
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden
Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
